Do you feel frustrated with your child and that you cannot seem to get through to them? Do you argue with your child daily and feel like you do not connect the way you used to? Is your child struggling with handling their emotions and feel helpless that the support you provide just does not seem to help?
There is no greater feeling than seeing your child succeed and, perhaps, nothing more disparaging than seeing your child struggle. Let us help you and your child learn to connect again and teach your child the skills they need to help them navigate the challenging barriers that seem to get in the way.
What to expect
We will schedule a time to talk with you over the phone for about 10-15 minutes. This will help your clinician understand the initial problem and what you are looking to accomplish in therapy.
From that phone call, we will schedule an intake involving everyone in the family, or only those most pertinent to the problem at hand.
Ongoing therapy will involve different combinations of family members depending upon the problem at hand.
