When chronic anxiety and trauma take up permanent residence in your system, your world naturally begins to shrink. You might find yourself caught in relentless, looping thought patterns, or carrying a constant, heavy buzz of physical tension that makes true rest feel impossible. If you are an adult who has lived with long-term stress or the echoes of past trauma, you already know the exhaustion of trying to outrun your own mind and body.

With over 30 years of clinical experience providing specialized therapy on the Seacoast, my passion is helping individuals step out of survival mode and move toward a deeply fulfilling, values-driven life. Many of my clients have already tried traditional talk therapy and discovered that simply talking about their problems wasn’t enough to change how their body actually felt. That is why my counseling practice bridges the gap between the mind and the body.

I utilize advanced, evidence-based approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), to help you safely process traumatic blocks, settle your nervous system, and reclaim your choices. Clients often find that after our sessions, they experience a deeper sense of calm, sleep better, and finally feel equipped to prevent anxiety from hijacking their day-to-day lives.

Therapy with me is a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative partnership. I work best with individuals who are curious about their internal patterns and motivated to build healthier, more authentic connections. Together at our Portsmouth office, we will work to lay down the defensive armor that chronic stress builds, untangle the unhelpful habits holding you back, and chart a clear path toward the things that matter to you the most.
